OAK GROVE, LA - Private funeral services for Peggy Jean Sanchez, age 63 a retired secretary of Oak Grove, Louisiana, will be held at 2PM on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Grove, Louisiana.
Dr. Clyde Sanchez will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Oak Grove.
Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove.
Peggy passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Oak Woods Rehab & Wellness in Mer Rouge, Louisiana.
She is preceded in death by her father, Edward Dewey Mitchell and her two brothers, Miles Mitchell and Tracy Johnson.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Wesley Emmett Sanchez of Oak Grove, Louisiana; her mother, Elsie Mae Mitchell of Oak Grove; daughter, Leslie Cooper of Jones, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Felicity and Steven Farrell of Alexandria, Louisiana; granddaughter and her fiancee, Ashley Payge Carroll and Zach Roszell of Alexandria; grandson, Blade Carroll of Alexandria; granddaughter, Stephanie Farrell of Alexandria; granddaughter, Masyn Cooper of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; grandson, Drew Cooper of Baton Rouge; great grandson Easton Taylor Roszell of Alexandria; sister, Diane Drurey of Oak Grove; sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Ronnie Barton of Bastrop; sister and brother-in-law, Myrl and Butch Boyte of Oak Grove; father-in-law, Joseph "Jim" Sanchez of Oak Grove; and mother-in-law, Vera Melissa "Pokey" Sanchez of Oak Grove; sister-in-law, Margaret Lockwood and husband Jeremy of Monroe; brother-in-law, Jimmy Sanchez and wife Cheryl of Sterlington; sister-in-law, Evelyn LeBeau and husband Paul of Lake Providence; brother-in-law, Clyde Sanchez and wife Shelia of Monroe; brother-in-law, Allen Sanchez of Florida; numerous nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are: Blade Carroll, Drew Cooper, Paul LeBeau, Jimmy Sanches, Allen Sachez and Kenneth King.
