Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Joe Tullos, age 77, a retired rural postal carrier for the U. S. Post Office, will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Providence, Louisiana. Reverend Tommy Gammill will officiate. Interment will follow in the Lake Providence City Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Lake Providence. Mr. Tullos passed away Monday, July 8, 2013 at Shady Lake Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his first wife, DeAnne Hair Tullos; and his parents, William Thomas Tullos and Ollie Ethel Berry Tullos. He is survived by his wife, Helen Murray Tullos of Lake Providence; daughter and son-in-law, Caron Tullos McPherson and Barry McPherson of Monroe, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Pam Tullos King and Clay King of Lake Providence; son, Thomas Tullos of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; son Mark Tullos of Newark, New Jersy; granddaughter Kelly Leigh King Boyett of Lake Providence; grandson, Jeffery Wade King of Lake Providence; grandson, Ely Joseph McPherson of Monroe; great grandchild, Audree Grayce King of Lake Providence; great grandchild, Addison Leigh Boyett of Lake Providence; great grandchild, Rayleigh Anne Boyett of Lake Providence; step son, John Murray of Covington, Louisiana; step son, Patrick Murray of Monroe; step granddaughter, Eileen Elizabeth Murray of Monroe; step grandson, Colin Ray Murray of Monroe; brother, Elzye Wroten of Tyler, Texas; sister, Ruth Swick of Dallas, Texas. Pallbearers are: Charles Lebria, David Collins, Bart Copes, Rusty Arledge, Matt Shockley, and Gerald Sullivan. Honorary Pallbearer is Delmar Pippin. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 from 8 to 10 AM at Cox Funeral Home of Lake Providence.
