Margaret “Sista” Antoine Garner
Loving Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Companion
A Home Going Celebration for Mrs. Margaret “Sista” Garner 63, the former Margaret Antoine will be on Wednesday January 13, 2010, 11:00 am at Fletcher Funeral Home Chapel, New Iberia, Louisiana with Bishop Alvin Davis officiating.
She will await the resurrection at Beau Pre’ Memorial Park. There will be a gathering of family and friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 7:30 am until time of service.
A native and resident of New Iberia, Louisiana Mrs Garner passed on January 7, 2010, 5:00 pm at Iberia Medical Center.
She leaves in Gods care her sons, Thomas “TA” Antoine of Broussard, and Kevin James Antoine of New Iberia; her daughters, Vanessa B Williams (Reginald) and Stacey Marie Antoine of New Iberia; her loving companion, Farmon J Benoit of New Iberia; brothers, Anthony Joseph Myers, John Dewey Antoine and John Allen Sargent Jr (foster brother) all of New Iberia; sisters, Linda A Green (Shelby Jr) of Olivier, Cressie Plumber Daniels and Mary Francis Mallery of New Iberia, Louisiana; four grandchildren, Ted Erastus Antoine, Thomas Triston Antoine, Markiya Aleeah Vallian and Marlon Lee Vallian Jr godchildren; Clyde Thibodeaux, Hamilton Green, Calvin Daniels, Kathryn Trent, and Brison Fuselier, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Margaret now joins in glory with her husband, Thomas “Butcha Boy” Garner; parents, Joseph Antoine and Clothide Plumber Garner; sisters Gertrude Thibodeaux and Brenda Antoine; brothers-in-law, Andrew Mallery, and Edward Daniel; mother-in-law, Odile Garner; father-in-law Tom Garner.
Active pallbearers are: Thomas T A Antoine, Harry Daniels III, Michael Meyers, Reginald Williams, John Antoine, Cressie Plumber Daniels and Hassan Hypolite.
