Funeral services for Mrs. Debra Carol Hinkie, age 62 of Ruston, will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, May 25, 2015 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston. Officiating the service will be Dr. Andy Johnson. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until service time at 10:00 AM Monday at Owens Memorial Chapel.
Mrs. Hinkie was born September 4, 1952 in Bernice to Raymond Elvin Farley and Edna Elizabeth Farley. She died Thursday, May 21, 2015 in Ruston. For many years she was the unit secretary for the University Police Department at Louisiana Tech University.
Mrs. Hinkie is survived by her husband of 29 years: Brad Hinkie; her two sisters: Patsy and husband Johnny Davis of Keithville and Darleen and husband Travis Madde of Spring, TX; her three brothers: Lonnie Farley and wife Melinda of Homer, Wayne Farley and wife Retha of Homer and Donald Farley and wife Paula of Summerfield and many nieces nephews and extended family.
