Funeral services for Gennie Lee Neathery, 76 of Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 13, 2008 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home with Rev. Buddy Wade, Rev. Billy Taylor and Rev. Ron Lowe officiating. Interment will follow at Twin Cities Memorial Gardens West Monroe under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.Mrs. Neathery was born February 2, 1932 in Taylor, Arkansas and passed away March 10, 2008 in Monroe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Neathery; parents, Noah  and Annie Bethany Spruell.Mrs. Neathery was a member of Francis Towers Senior Association, Red Hat Society, Francis Towers Coffee Club and the Reflections Club.Mrs. Neathery is survived by sons, Timothy Scott Neathery, David Ronald Neathery and wife Juanita; daughters; Debbie Chisolm and husband Sammy of Olla, LA, Sarah ?Cricket? Bell and husband Alex; daughter-in-law, Christy Neathery; grandchildren; Jason & Jeffery Chisolm, Connie, Gennie, Deborah,Scotty, Tye, Coby, Angie, Hannah, Bethany, David Neathery,Brittany Martin,Dakin, Darin, Dusty Bell, Jaushua & Ashley Keefover, Kelley & Harley Bolton; great-grandchildren; Brandon,  Tori, Sierra, Kayden, Dustin and Destiny; special sister-in-laws, Sally Hamm and Frances Neathery;  numerous nieces and nephews; also survived  by special friends of Francis Towers.Pallbearers will be Scotty Neathery, David Neathery, Dakin Bell, Darin Bell, Jeffrey Chisolm, Jason Chisolm, Dustin Bell and Tye Neathery.Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Hammond, Eric Williams, and A.C. Housley.Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
