Entombment services for Mrs. Eloyce Murphree, 91, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens in the Open-Air Chapel Mausoleum West Monroe LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home-Monroe. Rev. Clovis Sturdivant will officiate.
Mrs. Murphree was born December 29, 1924, and passed away after a brief illness
May 13, 2016. She was a life-long resident of West Monroe and was a member of New Chapel Hill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Otis and Thelma Gray, and her husband Herbert Murphree.
Survivors include her daughter, Darlene Adams; two sons, James Murphree and wife Julia, andTerry Murphree and wife Donna. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Lamy Lane, Monroe.
