Shreveport, LA – Lupe Castillo Felan, 90, of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2014. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 11th, at Osborn Funeral Home, followed by a Vigil at 7:00 p.m. A Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 12, 2014, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, where she was a lifelong member. Officiating will be Father Charles Glorioso. Interment will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery.
Lupe was born July 20, 1923, in San Antonio, Texas and was a resident of Shreveport for 64 years. She was a member of the Altar Society, Church Choir and volunteered at Christian Services.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Henry M. Felan. She is survived by her children, Henry C. Felan (Neima), Gloria Jung (Melvin), Linda Butler (Bob), Edward Felan (Pam), Catherine Richardson (Ken), and Therese Turnage (Bill); 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 3 great- great grandchildren.
