Jean was born November 29, 1942 and called home to be with the Lord early Monday morning, May 14, 2012. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her faith in the Lord kept her strong through her wonderful life. Jean devoted her time to her family and church. Nothing pleased her more than spending time with those she loved. There are angels on this planet who masquerade as people, and she was the bravest one of these.

Her parents, Clay Richie and Mary Mitternight, sisters, Helen McClain, Margaret Lanier, Bertie Cathy, Gail White, and Barbara Leone, and brothers, Clay Richie, Jr. and Clifton Richie, preceded Jean in death.

Survivors are her husband, Ray Noble; daughters, Terrie Richie Sullivan and husband, Chris, and Kimberly Noble Willhite and husband, Rick; grandchildren, Brandy Clayton, Candy Armstrong, Travis Ray Armstrong, Jeannie Armstrong, and Shayla Underwood; 12 great grandchildren; and siblings, Melvin Richie, Glen Richie, Travis Richie, Wayne Richie, and Milton Richie.

Jean was a mother to everyone and helped raise countless more children. Her door and heart was always open to everyone, especially in their time of need. She was loved, treasured by all, and will be truly missed.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Sullivan, Chris Clayton, Chris Smith, Stone Armstrong, Rick Willhite, James Scroggins, Travis O. Armstrong, and Travis R. Armstrong.
