Minden, LA: Funeral services for Beulah Johnston McDaniel will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Eastside Missionary Baptist Church in Minden, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Richard Methvin, Rev. Don McCormick and Rev. Jacob McCormick. Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery in Athens, LA. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Monday, February 10, 2014 at Eastside Missionary Baptist Church.
Beulah was born December 11, 1920 in Bear Creek, LA and entered into rest February 7, 2014 in Shreveport, LA. She was a member of Eastside Missionary Baptist Church.
Her husband Troy B. McDaniel, father James Littleton Johnston, Mother Christina Iola Langston, 2 brothers and 5 sisters preceded her in death.
Pallbearers will be Gary Floyd, Dwayne Chapman, Royce Chapman, Kenneth Greer, Tim Greer and Tommy Hathorn.
Honorary pallbearers will be Phil Demaline, Stan Kaczenski, James Powell, Eldon Howell and Billy Hathorn.
Special honor: Esther Sunday School Class.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Eastside Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund, 1201 Park Hwy, Minden, LA 71055.
The family extends special thanks to Advanced EMS, Dr. Carl Hines, ER staff of Minden Medical Center, nurses, doctors and staff on K-wing at University Hospital for the kindness and care given our mother.
