Brister-Liberty Cemetery
Vernon County,
Louisiana

From the Courthouse in downtown Leesville, travel east on LA Hwy 468. Travel about 3 miles to Castor Lake Road. Turn right and travel approximately 1 mile. Turn right onto Brister-Liberty Cemetery Road, a small, dirt road. The cemetery can be seen at the end of this lane. Morning glories are growing wild on the front fence, and two large cedar trees are right in the center of the cemetery on top of a small knoll. The area within the chain-link fence is about an acre in size and is well maintained. Large trees line the sides, casting shade over the entire property.
