Funeral services for Mrs. Berbia Jean Kenly McLemore, age 72, will be held Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Pilgrim Home Baptist Church, Ivan, LA with Rev. Byron Longino officiating. Interment will follow in Red River Cemetery, Benton, LA under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA.
Visitation will be Friday at 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Pilgrim Home Baptist Church.
Mrs. McLemore was born October 27, 1940 in Bastrop, LA to Thomas Carson and Dopsie Louise Martin Kenly and passed away September 9, 2013 in Ivan, LA. She was a resident of Ivan, LA since 1964, was a member of Pilgrims Home Baptist Church and a homemaker. Mrs. McLemore was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and mother to all that needed her.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Coleman of Princeton, LA; son, Billy Joe McLemore and wife, Carolyn of Ivan, LA; grandchildren, Hannah Wallace, Billie Gail McLemore, Bruce Garrett McLemore, Colton Chase McLemore; great grandchildren, Aubrey and Eva Claire; sister, Betty Jo Blackwell of West Monroe, LA; brothers, Jake Kenly of Rayville, LA, Willie Early Kenly of Haughton, LA, Willard Lee Kenly of Fairbanks, La, Billy Ray Kenly of Monroe, LA Benjamin Franklin Kenly of Haughton, LA, Thomas Ira Kenly of Rocky Mount, LA and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. McLemore was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie Ray “Joe” McLemore and daughter, Brenda Gail McLemore.
