BOSSIER CITY, LA - Services to celebrate the life of Jean C. Allen will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Red River Baptist Church, Benton, LA, officiated by Rev. Josh Cagle and Rev. Richard Beeman. Interment will follow in Lay Cemetery. A brief visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. will precede the service.
Jean was born on July 3, 1925, in Brooklyn, NY and passed away on January 6, 2016, following a full life of 90 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adrain Leroy Allen; sister, Lois Marie Clay Walsh; and parents, Theodore and Alida Alice Clay. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Randall Clay Stine and wife Debbie, Karen Stine Pitts and husband David, Jana Stine Siebold, Holly Stine Knox and husband James, and Lisa Stine O'Conner and husband Danny.
Honoring Jean as pallbearers are Danny O'Conner, David Pitts, James Knox, Ken Craig, W.L. Creamer, and Christina Hamilton.
