Obituary:
Funeral services for Addis J. Brown, 80, of Rayville, LA. were held 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 12, 2010 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Rayville with Rev. Harold Spillers and Bro. Carlos Mann officiating. Interment followed in Antioch Cemetery, Rayville, LA.
Addis was born June 5, 1930 in Bonita, LA and passed away Friday, December 10, 2010 in Rayville.
Mrs. Brown is was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Dollie Johnson; sisters, Minnie Crocker and Alice Leonard; grandchild, Dallas Brown; daughter-in-law, JoAnna Brown; brother, Jack Johnson.
Survivors include her 7-children, Patricia Lively and husband, Jesse, Jr. of Rayville, Mack Henry Brown, Jr. and wife, Janet of Start, Mark Henry Brown and wife, Donna of Baton Rouge, Clark Brown and wife, Daphne of Baton Rouge, Kathy Pardue and husband, David of Rayville, Clairese Thompson of Archibald, Linda Pyles and husband, Sammy of Mangham; 21-grandchildren; 5-great grandchildren; 5-sisters, Sybil Miles and husband, Mack of Rayville, Velma McFarland and husband, Dennis of Marshall, TX., Mary McCully of Crystal Springs, FL., Dollie Hestand of Rayville, Rosie DelRio and husband, Quinn of Eros, LA.; 2-brothers, James Johnson and wife, Nell of Start, Jessie Johnson, Jr. and wife, Juanita of Rutledge, TN.
Pallbearers were Mack Brown, Jr., Mack Brown, III, Billy Golden, Dennis Richardson, Alex Winstead, and Herman Little.
