Funeral services for Mrs. Joy Dyer Cone, age 82, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jared Smith and Bro. Ray Smallridge officiating. Burial will be in the Springhill Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday at Bailey Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cone was born October 2, 1930 to Euey Lee Dyer, Sr. and Alma Lillian Morgan Dyer in Taylor, AR and died Saturday, January 12, 2013 in Springhill, LA. She was a faithful member of the Butler Street Church of Christ and a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Euey Lee Dyer, Jr.; and, husband, Kermit N. Cone on October 16, 2000.

She is survived by daughters, Rebecca "Becky" Cone, of Shreveport, LA; Retha Templin and husband, Chuck of Ft. Worth, TX; sons, Steve Cone and wife, Carol of Ovilla, TX; Kenneth Cone and wife, Jan of Bowling Green, KY; Tine H. Harrison of Arcadia, LA; grandchildren, Karen Wirz and husband, Fred; Charles Templin; Suzanne Carraway and husband, Andy; Jason Lawrence and wife, Jaymi; Lindsey Haubenreich and husband, James; Klay Cone and wife, Shannon; Stephanie Cone and husband Jarrod, Sean Arriola and Brianna Arriola; Tacie Farnham and husband, Lloyd; Kim Moak and husband Scott and 13 great-grandchildren.
