Graveside services and interment for Mrs. Bessie Beatrice Flint, age 95, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the Springhill Cemetery with Rev. Tim Everett officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Flint was born on May 6, 1919 to Leva and Mary Cole Anderson in Farmerville, LA and passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015 in Springhill, LA. She was a faithful member of Central Baptist Church and a homemaker. She loved gardening, sewing, and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by three sons, Jimmy D. Flint and wife, Anne of Ringgold, LA, Gary W. Flint and wife, Sandy of Springhill, LA, Danny R. Flint of Shreveport, LA; six grandchildren, Rob Usher and wife, Pam of Woodstock, GA, Russell Flint and wife, Amy of Columbia, LA, Tracey Houck and husband, Calvin of Doddridge, AR, Michael Flint of Springhill, LA, Andrea Flint of Benton, LA, Christina Murphy of Bossier City; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Flint was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James W. Flint, brothers, Raymond Anderson, Lavelle Anderson and sister, Patsy Anderson..
