Ollie Eugene Duke, 79, of Marion, La., died Monday morning in his home. Mr. Duke was born Dec. 25, 1886. He had lived in North Louisiana most of his life. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Clara Duke of Marion; two sons, John T. Duke of Downsville, La., and James Oliver Duke of Marion; two daughters, Mrs. Harry Layne of Marion and Mrs. Ralph J. Ware of Baton Rouge; 14 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Kilpatrick's Funeral Home in Farmerville. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery near Litoe, La. (The El Dorado Times - February 8, 1966)
