Funeral for Florence Rundell Posey, 69, will be at 10 a.m. on Monday at First United Methodist Church in Farmerville, La., with the Rev. Johnny Hankins officiating.
Interment will be in Farmerville City Cemetery under direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville.
Mrs. Posey was born on Nov. 29, 1938, in Vicksburg, Miss., and passed away on Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, in Farmerville.
Mrs. Posey graduated from Oak Grove High School in 1956. She attended Louisiana State University where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority.
Mrs. Posey graduated from Louisiana Tech in 1960 with a degree in elementary education.
She taught elementary school for a number of years in El Dorado and at Cedar Creek School in Ruston.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, James; a daughter and son-in-law, Alison and Kent Reed of Kinder, La.; three grandchildren, Justin, Wesley and Catherine Reed; and a son, Ron, and fiancée, Charlene Martin, of Dallas, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Llewellyn Rundell.
Pallbearers will be Joe Harper, Stein Baughman, Jim Farley, Billy Shankle, Huey Warner and Charles Causey.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Methodist Childrens' Home in Ruston, La., or to the charity of donor's choice.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 tonight the funeral home in Farmerville.
