Norma Jean White was born, to the late Charlie Robinson and the late Martha White on March 13, 1947, in Monroe, Louisiana. Norma attended Carver Elementary School, where she was once proudly crowned Homecoming Queen, and then Carroll High School with her lifelong friend of sixty-five years, Mary "Shuck" Saucer-Johnson. Norma married the love of her life, the late Sam Lynch, Jr., in 1968, and they lived together in Massachusetts and California for many years before returning back to their native state of Louisiana.
She accepted Christ as her Lord and Saviour and was a faithful member of Abundant Faith Ministries, led by her cousin and pastor, Felix D. Ross.
Norma departed this life at her home on June 24, 2023.
Norma leaves to cherish her memories: two children, Anthony Lynch of CA and Shabrena Lynch-Horton (Ronald) of TX; six grandchildren, Kyle Lynch, Tre'von Lynch, Travis Killian (Tabatha), Samara "Sam" Penninger, Anthony Lynch, Jr., and Sam Lynch III; three siblings, Tommy Coleman (Marie, predeceased), Theresa Williams (Michael), and Walter Coleman, all of MA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends, all of whom she absolutely loved and held dear to her heart.
Norma was preceded in death by her loving husband on August 6, 2006; her baby sister, Edith Coleman, on April 10, 2009; and her eldest sister, Eula Drummer, on April 11, 2023.
Norma was immensely proud of her family, leaving nothing but beautiful memories behind her. As her health declined, she often reminded us that she was waiting to be with her dear husband again, whom she insisted "Death cannot even part us."
