Funeral service celebrating the life of Mrs. Barbara Strittman Willbanks, retired school teacher of West Monroe, LA will held at 2:00pm, Sunday, July 5, 2020 In the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe, LA with Pastor Tracy Ferriss officiating.
Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends for visitation, Saturday, July 4, 2020, from 5pm until 8pm at the funeral home.

Barbara was born May 21, 1954 and passed from this life July 2, 2020 at the age of 66.
She was a school teacher and retired after 35 years, she loved every moment spent with her grandkids and enjoyed a good cup of coffee and loved photography.

She is preceded in death by her parents James and Flora Strittman, and grandparents.

Those left to cherish her memories include her husband of 44 years, Richard James Willbanks; two sons, Brad Sims and wife Melissa, James Adam Willbanks and wife Nora; two daughters, Amanda Oneal and husband Billy, and Angela Simpson and husband Jay; sister, Carol Strittman; eleven grandchildren; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.

Serving pallbearers will be Bobby Allen, Jon Hearne, Robbie Hodges, George Kelley, and Wesley Robertson.
