Memorial Services for Mrs. Louise Hennen, 96, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 19, 2022, at the Hasley Memorial Pavilion in West Monroe, LA. The family requests guests wear purple and/or flowers in her honor.

Mrs. Hennen was born August 27, 1925, and passed away on March 9, 2022. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, and traveling. Mrs. Hennen was a member of Lea Joyner Memorial United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with family and anything to do with flowers.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard William “Speedy” Hennen; two sons, Dennis William Hennen, Mark DeWayne Hennen; sisters, Mildred Moore, Audie Brown, Hazel Russell; brother, James L. “Buddy” Banks; half-sister, Gay Rogers; and two nephews, Leland Moore and Jimmy Moore.

Survivors include three grandchildren, Laura Hennen, Tyler Hennen, and Derek Hennen; daughter-in-law, Helen Hennen; nephews, Jay Banks, Jerry Banks, Mike Moore, and George Fluitt; nieces, Clarice Fluitt, Michelle Moore, Beth Moore, and Lisa Starnes; sister-in-law, Laverne Banks; special friends, OC Ross, Jackie Ross, Bobby Wayne Ross, Vicky Ross, Cleatus Ross, R. Don Ross, and Ann Ross; as well as numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and other extended family.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Morgan and staff, Compassus hospice staff, and caregivers for their comfort of our loved one.

Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home and the Northeast Louisiana Food Bank.
