A graveside service for Frances Reese Gentry, 91, will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd., Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor Dean Busboom. Frances was born on September 21, 1930 in McNeil, Arkansas to Richard Marion Reese and Ollie Hill Zachary Reese and passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Frances was a resident of Waskom, Texas and went to school in McNeil, Arkansas. She worked as a secretary for Gentry Trucking in Greenwood, Louisiana before retiring. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Waskom. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.W. Gentry; stepfather, Fred Zachary; sisters, Louise Purifoy, Auline Purcell, Marion Vowell, Dorothy Wynn; and brother, James Martin Reese. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jerry Olds and wife, Camie; Liz Pene' and husband, Ronnie, Cary Gee, Bryan Gentry, DeWayne Gentry and wife, Jacque, Jimmy Gentry and wife, Linda, close friend and stepdaughter, Lou Nelms and husband, George and special family friend, Will Collins; grandchildren, Denise Savell, Jamie Douglas Lawrence, Kelly Gee, Daytona Moore, Steven Gee, Morgan Gentry, Brad Gentry, Kim Gentry French and Evan Gentry; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
