BOSSIER CITY, LA – Graveside services for Shirley Harper Fisher will be 1 p.m. Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Forest Park West Cemetery, Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Chaplain Larry Bass of Aime Hospice. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Bossier.

Shirley was born February 24, 1918 to Henry and Avis Harper in Couchwood, LA and died November 17, 2017 in Bossier City, LA. She was a member of Mangum Memorial Methodist Church and was a retired bookkeeper.

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Lewis C. Fisher; parents; brothers, Edward, George, Wayne, and Welton Harper and special nephew, Michael Harper.

Shirley is survived by nieces, Sandra Harper Lee and husband, David and their children, Whitney Nolan and husband, Roger of Jasper, GA, Jared Lee and wife, Heather of Frisco, TX and children Hannah and Lexi Lee; Monica Harper of Ft. Worth, TX, her children, Mason Harper and wife, Jill of Wichita, KS and children, Zeke and Suzie Harper, Meredith Harper of FT. Worth, TX; Linda Peck of Bossier City, LA; Fran Ludington and husband, Dave of East Lansing, MI; a nephew, Dick Cross and wife, Linda of Marlton, NJ and several other nieces and nephews.

Shirley’s family would like to thank the staffs of Live Oak and Pilgrim Manor Guest Care for the kindness and care they gave to Shirley.

The family suggests memorials may be made to Mangum Memorial Methodist Church, 3939 Pines Road, Shreveport, LA 71119 or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
