SHREVEPORT, LA- Funeral services for Josie Windham, 89, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Bob Moore. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 10:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2014 at the funeral home.
Josie was born on July 10, 1924 in DeQueen, AR and passed away on February 12, 2014. She was a resident of Shreveport and retired from Weingarten's
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland "Rip" Windham; parents, Dewie and Ruby Reynolds; daughter, Patsy Windham Hunt; sisters, Polly Higgins, Dolly Butler, and Gracie Nelson; brothers, John Reynolds and Harley Reynolds; grandson, Donald Hunt, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Dessie Windham Moncla; granddaughter, Kelli Hunt Putman; great - grandsons, Brandon, Craig and Mark Johnson; great-granddaughters, Michelle McCall and Allysa Putman; sisters, Viola Williford and Bonnie Gwyn; numerous nieces and nephews.
