Mausoleum
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, April 4, 2016 in Community Baptist Church for Dolores Deville, 81, who passed away on April 1, 2016. Reverend Tom Lambert, Pastor of Community Baptist Church will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Mrs. Deville, a resident of Lafayette, was the daughter of the late Horace Reynolds and the former Mary Harper. Dolores was past President of the Magnolia Home Demonstration Club as well as an Eastern Star member. She enjoyed reading and shopping as shoes were her passion. She was a member of the Community Baptist Church. Dolores was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Nelson Deville; her children, Margaret Deville Vidrine and her husband, Tilden, Patricia Deville Foley and her husband, Joseph and Richard Deville and his wife, Stacy; eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Nadine McDonald and her brother, Robert Reynolds. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Community Baptist Church, 800 Rue de Belier, Lafayette, LA 70506 on Sunday, April 3, 2016 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM. The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Alexander and his staff and the staffs of Lafayette General Medical Center and St. Joseph Hospice Carpenter House. Pallbearers will be Joe Foley, Tilden Vidrine, Christopher Mabou, Mike McDonald, Ed Sims and Jim Poole.
