Mausoleum
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 18, 2013, in Delhomme Funeral Home Chapel of the Flowers for Rosalie Pace, 73, who passed away on Monday, October 14, 2013 at 6:00 am at her residence.
Deacon Art Bakeler of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church will conduct the funeral services.
Entombment will take place in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Rosalie, a resident of Church Point, LA was the daughter of the late Warner J. Matherne and the former Mineola M. Hebert.
Rosalie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. Her love for her children and family were most important to her, she was a caretaker for many in her family. Her love of life was evident.
She is survived by her husband of thirty two years, Johnnie R Pace; her daughters, Vickie M. Noel and her husband Jim, Paula A. Dupre and her husband Jerry; her son, Albert J. Noriega and his wife Susie; her five grandchildren, Whitney, Randy, Quinton, Frankie and Sammie; her four great grandchildren; her sister, Emmadelle Chafin; and her brother, John Matherne.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her two sisters, Anna Mae Nelton, and Alea Dupre and her brother, Oliver Matherne.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home on Bertrand Dr. on Thursday, October 17, 2013 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visiting hours will continue on Friday, October 18, 2013 from 8:00 am until the time of service.
Pallbearers will be Quinton and Frankie Noriega, Randy Trosclair, Sammie Thibodaux, Clint Matherne and Timmy Nelton.
