Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, August 26, 2017 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Mrs. Charlotte L. Wooderson who passed away on August 24, 2017 at Lady of the Oaks Retirement Manor.
Rev. Larry Baldridge will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Charlotte was born on January 16, 1947 to Charles and Maidel Loving. She grew up in Lafayette and graduated from Lafayette High School in 1965. She married her high school sweetheart J. M. (Mike) Wooderson, they would have celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary on November 23, 2017.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Nancy Loving Toro and her brother, Christopher Roy Loving.
She is survived by her spouse, James Michael Wooderson; her son, Robert Clyde Wooderson and his wife, Susan Eppinett; her daughter, Jennifer Kate Wooderson Janssen and husband, Christopher Frank Janssen; her grandson, Peter Samuel Janssen and granddaughter, Ruby Celine Janssen.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 10:00AM until time of service.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family would like to thank Lady of the Oaks Retirement Home and Heart of Hospice for the fine attentive care given to Mrs. Charlotte.
