Funeral services for Lois Irene Arrant Beavers, 77, of West Monroe, are at 10:00AM on Tuesday, February 14th, in the Chapel of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Interment follows at Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery, Highway 34, West Monroe, under the direction of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Mrs. Beavers was born May 26th, 1934, in Calhoun, Louisiana, and passed away Saturday, February 11th, 2012 in West Monroe following a lengthy illness. A homemaker and devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she was a past auxiliary commander of the DAV Chapter 8 and a member of the Moose Lodge. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bennett and Myrtle Arrant; two sisters, Oliece Frost and Marie Yeager; and a brother R. B. Arrant. She is survived by her husband and best friend of over 59 years, J.C. Beavers; sons, Ronnie Beavers and wife, Karen, and Joey Beavers and wife, Connie; granddaughters, Amity Rayner and husband, Eric, and Jodi Beavers; grandsons, Joey Lee Beavers and wife, Jessica, Aaron and Clint Beavers, Adam and Alex Cox; great grandsons, Levi and Dakota Masters, Wyatt Rayner, Colt, Jax, and Kayson Beavers, Nyckolas, Troy, and Addison Cox; and great granddaughter, Addilynne Beavers; sisters, Betty Jo Greer, Billie Jean Johnson, Linda Sue Rogers; brothers, Prentice and Harold Arrant; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Joey and Aaron Beavers, Eric Rayner, Levi and Dakota Masters, and Kenneth Mays. The family extends a special thank you and their heart-filled gratitude to Dr. Don Hammett and the staff of Landmark Nursing Home.
