Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held Friday, January 9, 2015 at 11 am at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Lilly Mae Breaux Calais, 77, who died January 3, 2015 at her residence surrounded by family.

Services will be conducted by Father Michael Sucharski, SVD. Interment will be in St Francis of Assisi Cemetery.

She is survived by daughters, Dorothy Calais of Cecilia, Louisiana, Priscilla Calais (Donald) of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, Agnes Calais (Russell) of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, Nancy (Nathan, Sr) Williams of Lafayette, Louisiana; sons, Lawrence (Claudette) Calais of Arnaudville, Louisiana, Clarence Calais, Curley Calais (Mary Bruno) of Lafayette, Louisiana, John Calais (Beverly Dinkins) of Memphis, Tennessee; long time devoted beloved companion, Mr Morris Thomas of Lafayette, Louisiana; sisters, Rose Breaux, Georgiana Lawrence, Linda Bernard, all of Lafayette, Louisiana, Christine Batiste of Cecilia, Louisiana; brothers, Paul Breaux, Jr, Wilson Breaux, Sr, both of Lafayette, Louisiana, Wilbert (Jenny) Breaux of Scott, Louisiana; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; two godchildren, Linda Bernard and Sheila Landry; sister-in-law, Odelia Breaux and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by husband, Abel Calais, Jr; son, John Allen Calais; great grandbabies, Corionn, Arriel and Arryan Calais; parents Paul Breaux, Sr and Agnes Felix Breaux; sisters, Annabel Broussard, Dorothy Rubin, Mary Zeno; brothers, Willie Breaux, James Broussard; son-in-law, James LaSalle, Sr.

The Calais family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Dr Mwatibo, Dr Kaufman, Heart of Hospice, Activities of Daily Living Services, Inc, Georgeana Calais Phillips, caregiver and Jillian Blanchard and the residents and staff of River Oaks Retirement Manor for their wonderful support.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 9, 2015 at Syrie Funeral Home from 7 am until time of service.

A rosary will be recited on Friday at 8 am.
