LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held Friday, April 19, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Gethsemane Church of God in Christ for Annie Mae Gabriel Johnson, 81, who died April 13, 2013 surrounded by the love of her family at Amelia Manor Nursing Home.
Services will be officiated by Elder David Allen, Sr., with Bishop Roy L.H. Winbush presiding.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Joseph (Shelia) Allen of Lafayette, LA, Forest (Mary) Allen of New Iberia, LA, Marie Allen (Louis) Davis of Beaumont, TX, Elder David (Sister Patricia) Allen, Sr. of Sebring, FL and Vanessa (Drake) Robinson of Lafayette, LA; twenty grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; one sister, Annie Lee (Widney) Brown of Lafayette, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Nella Wilson Gabriel; her siblings, Elda Marie Thibeaux, Eula Zeno, Rita Harrison, John Gabriel and Joseph Gabriel; two sons, Larry Allen and Lawrence Allen and one grandson, Nathaniel Narcisse.
