She taught them to be humble and appreciate everything they ever received..But the Most Precious Gift she ever gave them was the Teachings of Jesus Christ. She made sure they went to Church (Whether they liked it or Not) and they went to Church every time the Church doors were open. She also did everything in her power to make sure her children got to see as much of the USA as possible. She would have the Van Loaded down, pick the kids up from their last day of school, and head directly out for their summer journey. Traveling across the USA, the children got to see Many State Parks and had Many, Many Memorable Ventures, staying at various campgrounds and state parks. Always on a Budget. She found a way were there was none.Just to get them out into the world and away from the Cares of everyday life back home.Being the Faithful Servant that she was, the Family always seemed to seek out some Church along the way, never forgetting to Praise the Lord..Then at the end of their summer ventures, Margaret would get them home just in time for school to startand life would go on as usual.until the next Big Summer Adventure.Margaret always found time to help others, as she would stop and pick up other families just to make sure they had a way to get to Church.Margaret wore many hats.. Besides the most important one being a mother, she also had various jobs. one as a cook on a tug boat on the Mississippi river, Now that took a tough woman.Even though she did not have much to give, she always managed to give her time not only to her Church but she volunteered going on various Mission trips, Building Houses For Habitat For Humanity, and doing whatever she could do around the Church. She had and interesting and Tough life to say the leastAfter suffering a stroke, having various surgeries, and health crisis..She thrived in the Retirement home for many years with Love and Constant Care From Robin, Albert, and from Frequent visitations from various family members and friends.she enjoyed laughter and singing the Gospels Especially her favorite.Amazing Grace. For all the Ups and DownsGood and the BadLaughter and Sorrows..Margaret was the Best Mother she knew how to Be.She Is Loved and Will Be Missed..At Margaret passing, she was one of the oldest living Members of the Lee Joyner Methodist Church.
