Charles Wallace Thomas, age 76, a resident of Bogalusa, died Tuesday, Jan. 9 in Lacombe Nursing Center at Lacombe.
He is survived by a son, Kenneth (Jean) Thomas of Angie; a daughter, Paula Jean (Charles) Baker of Monroe; a brother, Larry (Bert) Thomas of Dale, N.Y.; three sisters, Lezbie Karasch of Decatur, Mich., Rose Beth (Malcolm) Crain of Slidell and Sandra (Junior) Ellis of Pensacola, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Alcus Thomas and Della Mills Thomas; a brother, Fred Thomas; and a sister, Wanzie O'Berry.
Visitation was held Thursday, Jan. 11 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Gene Simpkins officiated, with interment following in Ponemah Cemetery.
