Leslie Moore, age 81, a native of Philadelphia, Miss. and a resident of Bogalusa, died Thursday, Nov. 16 in LSU Bogalusa Medical Center. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Bogalusa.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Moore of Bogalusa; two sons, Danny Moore of Bogalusa and Bruce (Cindy) Moore of Nashville, Tenn.; two daughters, Sharron (Edward) Kennedy of Smyrna, Tenn. and Tammy (Paul) Knight of Lewisburg, Tenn.; eight grandchildren, Angela Maloney and Brian Moore, both of LaVergne, Tenn., Amy Moore and Ana Moore of Bogalusa, Brandy Knight and Jessica Knight, both of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Paul Knight Jr. of California, MacKenzie Moore of Nashville; three brothers, Evans (Hazel) Moore of Livingston, Paul Moore and Jerry (Malinda) Moore, both of Montgomery, Ala.; three sisters, Carrie Daniels pf Clinton, Miss., Bonnie Ledbetter of Wetumpka, Ala and Janie (Gene) Branan of Bogalusa; five great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Ina Moore; a brother, George Moore; and two sisters, Recie Brown and Beatrice Mercer.
Visitation was held Saturday, Nov. 18 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home. Visitation continued today at 8 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral Home chapel. The Rev. B.V. Alford will officiate, with burial following in Ponemah Cemetery.

January 29, 1933 - May 3, 2019
Bonnie P. Moore age 86, passed away May 3, 2019 at Pearl River County Hospital in Poplarville Ms. She was a resident of Bogalusa La. She is survived three sons, Danny Moore “Bobbie Sue” of Bogalusa La, Bruce Moore “ Cindy” of Unionville Tennessee, and Leslie Brian Moore of Smyrna Tennessee. Two daughters, Sharron Kennedy “Edward” of Smyrna Tennessee, and Tammy Knight “Pete” of Mcminnville Tennessee. One sister Mae Oaks of Dixon Ms. Eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Leslie Moore, parents Eugene and Josephine Phillips. Brothers Richard and Jerry Phillips. Sisters Lena Fleming, Erline Ward, Millie Hughes.
Visitation will be in the chapel of Brown McGehee Funeral Home on Monday May 6, 2019 from 10 a.m. until time foe service in the chapel beginning at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Ponemah Cemetery.
