Charlene T. George, age 84, a resident of Bogalusa, LA, passed away on January 18, 2009 at the LSU Medical Center in Bogalusa, LA.
Survived by: 1 Daughter, Dana Hymel of Bogalusa, LA;
1 Son, Daniel G. George, Jr. and wife Patricia of Vancouver, Washington;
1 Sister, Myrtle Megehee of Bogalusa, LA;
4 Grandchildren, Leland Wallace White, Lauren Elizabeth Freeman, Melissa Ann George and Kelsi Lynn George;
4 Great-Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: Her Husband, Daniel G. George, Sr.;
Her Parents, C.A. & Nannie K. Thomas;
1 Sister, Doretha T. Mitchell;
3 Brothers, Herbert W. Thomas, Marvin N. Thomas and Jack L. Thomas.
Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home at 5:30 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. on Monday, January 19, 2009.
Funeral Services will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2009.
The Rev. Clay Norwood will officiate with Interment to follow at Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa, LA.
