James Maxwell Gann, 80, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away at LSU Bogalusa Medical Center.
He was raised in Bogalusa and returned here after retiring from the US Air Force. He was also retired from the City of Bogalusa.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey Starnes Gann of Bogalusa; sons Bryan Gann of Bogalusa and Steve Gann of Midlothan, Texas; daughters Linda Gann Clements and Susan Gann, both of Bogalusa; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie B and Nettie Gann, and daughters Peri Michell Gann and Julie Rene Gann.
Military rites conducted by Magic City Post 24 of the American Legion.
Pallbearers were Brett Starns, Val Haaga, Beruc Clements Jr and J D Breland.
