Wife of William M Babington Jr
Henrilu Babington, 78, of Coshocton, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010. She was born in Smithdale, Miss. on July 11, 1931 to the late Charles Butler and Rachel (McClendon) Moore.
She attended Mississippi State College for Women and Louisiana State University. On Jan. 30, 1950, she married William Babington Jr., who preceded her in death on March 8, 1994. Henrilu was a member of the Green Valley Garden Club, where she won numerous awards. She was an avid bridge player, enjoyed her cats, loved to give candy to the neighborhood children, volunteered at the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum and was a member of Coshocton Junior Women's Club.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Michael Varnado of Zachary; two grandchildren, Stephen Michael Varnado and Charles Leslie Varnado, both of Zachary; and her brother, Charles Rex Moore of McComb, Miss.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 30 at 11 a.m. at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
