Funeral services for Mrs. Eunice Bell "Tiny" Collins will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, July 25, 2013 at the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop, La. Rev Jimbo Herring will officiate at the services.
Burial and committal services will be at the Mer Rouge Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.
Eunice Bell Collins was born December 7, 1934 in West Carroll Parish to the late Robert Britton "R B" Madden and Altha Vernice Madison Madden.
She died July 22, 2013 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, La.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Collins; a son, John Gaines; and five siblings, Frank Madden, Percy Elton Madden, James Leonard Madden, Vivian Petre, and Patsy Anne McIntyre.
Mrs. Collins will be remembered for her work ethics and independence. She enjoyed fishing and working in her yard. She also enjoyed serving the many customers and friends she knew while working at Slayden's Bar B Q.
She is survived by her children, Jimmy Ray Gaines and Kathy Walker, both of Bastrop, La.; eight grandchildren, Krystal Miletello, Stehphany Malone, Tina Dunn, Kassie Dunn, Kandie Farrar, Don Gaines, Charlie Gaines, and Paul Gaines. Ms. "Tiny" is also survived by her sister, Bonnie Guillory; two brothers, Vance Madden and R B Madden; and seven great-grandchildren.
