Memorial Services for Mrs. Zola Mae Robertson Sanderson, 96, of Monroe, LA, will be 2:00 PM Friday, January 18, 2019, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Bro. Shane Cupples officiating. Private Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM Friday, January 18, 2019, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Mrs. Sanderson was born January 9, 1923 and passed away on January 13, 2019. She was a cook at Riverside Nursing Home. She enjoyed spending time with family. Mrs. Sanderson is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Effie Robertson; husband, James K. Sanderson, two daughters, Shirley Jenkins and Yvonne Sanderson.
Survivors include two daughter, Betty Main, Barbara Wilson (Garry); six grandchildren, Alan Meadows (Lisa), Wayne Meadows, Yvette Lenard (Dicky), Brett Stapleton (Donna), Belinda Wilson (Jeremy Korn), Melissa Pipes (Matthew); 17 Great-Grandchildren, and 20 Great-Great-Grandchildren; sister, Beatrice Hammons; brother, Alford Robertson (Chloe); numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Caring Hands Hospice and the staff at Delta Grande Nursing Home for their love and care they gave to our mother.
