DANNY McELVEEN, age 82
And a resident died at 3:00 pm Saturday afternoon at Regency Hospital in Covington. He was a loving husband, father and PaPa. Mr. McElveen was a retired dairyman and member of First Baptist Church.

Survived by: Wife: Charline Corkern McElveen of Franklinton Daughter and son in law: Rita and Larry Stafford of Monroe 2 Sons and daughters in law: Kenneth and Patricia Corkern of Baton Rouge Rodney and Jane Corkern of Covington Grandchildren: John Stafford, Ann Caldwell, Lisa Hogge, Michelle Braswell and Christopher Corkern. Great-grandchildren: Peyton Stafford, Coleman Stafford, Connor Braswell and Caitlin Braswell. Brothers and Sisters in law: Bollan and Nelwyn Corkern Finley and Jane Corkern Mildred McElveen Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents Daniel J. and Alice Foil McElveen; brothers Robert McElveen, Allison McElveen, D.L. McElveen; sisters Maxine Sumrall, Mildred McLaurin and Aline Crain; and grandson James Corkern.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Tuesday January 6th from 5 PM until 8 PM and after 9 AM on Wednesday. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Larry Stafford and Rev. Luther Stanford officiating. Burial will follow in Ellis Cemetery.

The family wishes to thank the wonderful caregivers of Natural Touch Services for their loving attention to the entire family and to the staff of Regency Hospital for their support and professionalism. Pallbearers: Richard McElveen, Jimmy McElveen, Bobby McElveen, Chris Corkern, John Stafford, Andy Hogge, Josh Braswell. Honorary Pallbearer is Eric Fussell.
