MARTIN, ELOISE MAGEE
Eloise Magee Martin, 81, a native of Franklin and a longtime resident of Baton Rouge, died at 8:45 a.m. Monday, May 12, 2003, at Round Rock Medical Center in Round Rock, Texas. She had lived with her daughter and son-in-law, Janice Martin Young and Mike Young, in Cedar Park, Texas, for the past two years. She retired from Ethyl Corp. with more than 30 years of service. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Mike Young; nieces, Rebecca "Becky" Record of Clinton and Beryl Ford of New Llano; and a nephew, Paul Magee of Baton Rouge. Eloise was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse W. Martin; parents, W.J. and Alice Magee; a brother, Willis Daniel "Danny" Magee; and longtime friend and companion, James E. Scott. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Graveside service in Ellis Cemetery, Franklinton, at 11 a.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
