Raymond East, 74, of oil City, La., died Friday night in his home. Funeral services were held Sunday at the First Baptist Church in Oil City. Burial was in Vivian Cemetery at Vivian, La. His survivors include his widow of Oil City; one daughter, two grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Gina East King, El Dorado. (El Dorado Times - December 27, 1968)
