July 24, 1926 - October 19, 1998
Lerlean Tanner Davis, age 72, died Monday at her residence in Bogalusa.
She is survived by her husband, Albert Lee Davis of Bogalusa; her mother, Gertrude May Hooker of Oma, MS; two sons, John L. Davis of New Orleans, and Willie E. Davis of Bogalusa; four daughters, Bettie Williams of Oakland, CA, Sandra Harris of
Oma, MS, Priscilla Brumfield of Baton Rouge, and Sheila Parker of Fayetville, NC;
one sister, Ettie Brown of Baton Rouge; two brothers, R.D. Tanner of New Orleans,
and Edward Tanner of Baton Rouge; and 10 grandchildren including Latisha Davis
and Jonathan Davis, who live with her; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Purvis Tanner; and one brother, L.C. Bagant.
Visitation will be today from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Cook Richmond Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be tomorrow at 11 a.m. at Metropolitan Baptist Church with the
Rev. M.J. Galloway officiating.
Interment will follow in Bogalusa Cemetery.
