Son of Baz Barksdale and Mary Brown Brumfield
George Seymore Brumfield died January 10th, at the age of 68 years. He married Winnie Sylvest and had 9 children, 5 sons, Jack, Aubrey, Malcolm, and Clifford Brumfield of Franklinton, Dudley Brumfield of Mobile, 4 daughters, Mrs. Richard Pope of Pine, Misses Eva and Jessie Brumfield of Bogalusa, and Ontee Brumfield at home, several grandchildren, 4 brothers, J.O. Brumfield of Franklinton, Mark Brumfield of Summit, Robert and Clifford Brumfield of Boguechitto, Ms., 1 sister, Mrs. John D. Wood, Franklinton. Interment was in the Bethel cemetery.
