Mooringsport, LA ~ A celebration of life for Dylan Blaine, age 16, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 13, 2103 at Ferry Lake Baptist Church in Oil City with Rev. William Chester Coffman, pastor of Word of God Ministries offficiating. Interment will follow at the Mooringsport Memorial Gardens in Mooringsport, LA. There will be a time of visitation on Thursday, December 12th from 6-8 PM at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Vivian, LA.
Dylan was born on January 21, 1997 in Shreveport, LA to Christopher M. Blaine and Davi R. Munson Burford and passed away on December 7, 2013 at University Hospital in Shreveport as a result of an accident. Dylan was a life long resident of Mooringsport, LA, a student of Northwood High School, and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed reading, hunting, fishing and skateboarding.
Dylan is preceded in death by his great grandparents, Bobby and LouAnn Blaine, grandfather, Dennis Munson, grandmother, Juanita Burford and cousin, Austin Blaine. He is survived by his father, Chris Blaine and wife, Tiffany of Mooringsport, LA, mother, Davi Burford and husband, Harris of Shreveport, LA, two sisters, Paisley Blaine and Alyssa Burford and one brother, Harris Burford,V. Dylan is also survived by his grandparents, Mike and Pam Blaine of Oil City, LA, Tammy Vaughn of Shreveport, LA, Johnny and Debbie Krepak of Bossier City, LA,Denise Munson of Keithville, LA, Taylor Burford of Stonewall, LA, great grandmother, Janet Hyatt of Keithville, LA and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
Honoring, Dylan as pallbearers will be Larry Smith, Tim Allendorf, Matt Christie, Henry Barajas, Jr. Chad Shaw and Daymen Cude. Honorary pallbearers will be Hunter Shaw and Brandon Shaw.
