Mooringsport, LA - Funeral services celebrating the life of Lurline Anderson Pace, age 89 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 705 S. Spruce Street, Vivian, LA with Rev. Curtis Lee Pace officiating. Interment will follow in the Morringsport Memorial Gardens, Mooringsport, LA. There will be a time of visitation at the funeral home on Saturday, December 5th beginning at Noon until service time.
Mrs. Pace was born on August 21, 1926 in Prichard, LA to Bryan and Ollie Smith Anderson and passed away on December 2, 2015 at The Village Health Care/ The Glen after a lengthy illness. She was a resident of Mooringsport, LA and a member of the Mooringsport Baptist Church. Mrs. Pace was an educator from 1946 to 1983 and a Guidance Counselor with Caddo Parish School Board at North Caddo High School.
Mrs. Pace is survived by her two sons, Charles Anderson Pace and wife, Janet of Fitzwilliam, NH and David Vincent Pace and wife, Kathy of Blanchard, LA. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Honoring Mrs. Pace as pallbearers will be Byran Pace, Brad Pace, Logan Sullivan, Nathan Scruggs, DJ Endsley, Eugene Tunstall and Nicolaus Pace.
