Diana was born and raised in New Bedford, Massachusetts on February 19, 1950 to Nue and Elsie Sylvia. Later in 1976 the family moved from East Taunton, Massachusetts to Bossier City, Louisiana. Diana retired from Libbey Glass after 28 years of service. She was called home by her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 25, 2022. Her and her husband Harold regularly attended First Methodist Church of Longstreet. Some of her hobbies include spending time with her family, sewing, cooking, collecting bird houses and shopping online.

Husband – Harold Scott

Daughters – Cindy Umling and husband Steve, Michele Malone and husband Darrin

Sons – Wayne Sherman Jr., Stephen Sherman and husband Kenny

Step Children – Scotty Scott and wife Diana, Angela Layne and husband Scott

Grandchildren – Chris Umling and wife Rebecca, Kristina Haltom and husband Joseph, Crystal Palmer and husband Cade, Sean Malone and wife Michelle, Katelyn Wiggins and husband Andrew, Paige Sherman and Conner Smith

Great Grandchildren – Mackenzie, Hunter, Aidan, Maci, Madison, Harper, Wyatt and Wesley

Preceded in death by her parents and first husband Wayne Sherman Sr.
