Funeral Services for Frances Sue Wynn Chelette will be held at the Mooringsport Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, Friday, November 10, 2017, at 2pm. Rev. Eddie Dehondt officiating with Rev. Roy D. Strother assisting. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Mooringsport, LA. Visitation will be from 12pm to 2pm before the funeral service in the Mooringsport Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Frances was born December 28, 1928. She was a longtime resident of the Town of Mooringsport and a member of Mooringsport Baptist Church where she was the Sunday morning Secretary for many years. She passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017. She was a 1949 graduate of Louisiana Polytechnic Institute in Ruston, LA. She taught school in Ida and Oil City from 1950 to 1955 when she went to teach at Mooringsport Junior High for 15 years. Frances is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Charles Chelette, son, Tim Chelette in 1983, Parents Les and Ruth Wynn. She is survived by son, Robert Wynn Chelette and wife, Robin Chelette of Louisville, Tennessee; granddaughter Crystal Wynn Wooldridge and husband, Marty Gant Wooldridge of Oil City, LA; great grandson William "Tripp" Wynn Wooldridge; sisters-in-law Viola Chelette Shepherd and Bea Chelette Fleener of Mooringsport; brother-in-law William Chelette and wife, Robbie of Minden; multiples nieces and nephews, the Bill Pilgreen Family, the Evan Welch family, and the Stanley Welch family. Grandma and Papaw enjoyed traveling, especially on church bus trips. "They always had a lot of fun!" She also enjoyed line dancing and spending time with family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandma. We will miss you GG-Ma. Special Thanks to Lisa Guth, the staff at Willis Knighton Bossier, North Caddo Medical Center, and Aime Hospice Care. We couldn't have asked for better team of caretakers. She loved orchids and carnations but in lieu of flowers, please make donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
