Sarah Rynders, 74 of Mooringsport, LA passed away Friday, August 3, 2012 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home Chapel in Vivian, LA officiated by Rev. Eddie DeHondt. Burial will follow at Mooringsport Memorial Gardens Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation on Saturday, the 4th from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.

Sarah was born February 18, 1938 in Holly Springs, MS and had lived in the Mooringsport area for the past 49 years. She was a member of the Mooringsport Baptist Church, a member of the Mooringsport Homemakers Club, and she enjoyed gardening and cross stitching.

She was preceded in death by her husband William (Bill) Rynders, her parents Richard and Willie Boone and her son in law Rodney Fillingim. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah (Debbie) Fillingim and Sheila Rynders, her grandchildren, Rodney Brett Fillingim and Ashley Lynn Fillingim, her 3 great grandchildren, Madison Claire, McKinley Bryce and Rodney (Will) Fillingim, her 3 brothers, Richard Boone, Joe Boone and wife Pat and D.D. Boone and wife Janie.

Pallbearers will be Tommie Collins, Carl Hoeft, John David Rogers, Brett Fillingim, James (Gomer) Pyle and Eugene Tunstall.
