Falisa Faline Fly Welch, age 46 of El Dorado, passed from this life Monday, December 31, 2012 at her home in El Dorado. She was born May 18, 1966 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Joseph Paul Fly and Sandra Lee Brown. Falisa was a member of the Blanchard Springs Baptist Church and was an avid M&M’s and Elvis Memorabilia Collector. She was an animal lover and especially loved her dogs; Prissy, Dottie and Peanut. She was a loving wife, daughter, sister and grand- mother, who will be greatly missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and by her father, Joseph Paul “Jay” Fly.
Those left to cherish her memory include husband Jeff Welch of El Dorado; mother Sandra Campbell of El Dorado; sons Roddy Johns and wife Brittany and Colton Johns all of Cleveland, Mississippi; grandson, Owen Gill Johns of Cleveland; sisters Fonda Hicks and husband Richard of Cleveland, Debbie Kelly and husband Bill of El Dorado and Karen McElroy and husband Ricky of Dallas, Texas; Step Mother, Kay Fly of El Dorado and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm Wednesday prior to service time at Blanchard Springs Baptist Church.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Blanchard Springs Baptist Church with Bro Allan Grimmett officiating. Burial will follow in Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado.
