Richard Alexander Mackenroth III, 57 years old, passed away at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge, LA on Monday, May 25, 2015 at 10:50 p.m. A resident of Baton Rouge, LA and native of New Orleans, LA. He was a mechanic for Avis. He enjoyed music (drums & guitar) and fishing. A memorial service will be held at Jackson Avenue Evangelical Congregational Church, corner of Jackson Ave. and Chippewa St., New Orleans, LA, on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at 1 p.m., conducted by Pastor Alyce Jefferson. Survived by his mother, Marguerite Clements; daughters, Marica Mackenroth Brewster and Lisa Mackenroth; son, Richard A. Mackenroth IV (Alex); sisters, Donna Mackenroth Cole and Cyndi Mackenroth; grandchildren, Baxter Brewster and Cooper Adams; niece, Whitney Cole Horak and husband, Brian; nephew, Joey Catalano and wife, Jennifer; great nieces, Jillian and Haley Horak; and great nephew, David Catalano. Preceded in death by his father, Richard Alexander Mackenroth Jr.; paternal grandparents, Richard A., Sr. and Hazel Nuss Mackenroth; and maternal grandparents, Julian C. Clements and Marguerite Clements Juno. Ascension Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
