Johnann "Joan" Moore, 80, of Vivian, LA passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Monday, August 17, 2015 at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home in Vivian, LA officiated by Rev. Mark Eakin. Burial will follow at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Vivian. There will be a time of visitation on Sunday the 16th from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Moore was born October 1, 1934 in Edinburgh, Scotland. She moved to the US when she was 20 when she married Malcolm Moore, on June 5, they celebrated 61 years of marriage. She lived in the oil city area most of her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church Oil City. She received her citizenship in 1976. Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents George and Christine Burke, her 3 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by her husband Malcolm Moore, her 4 children; George Moore of Shreveport, LA, William Moore and wife Rita of Shreveport, LA, Cricket Johns and husband Rusty of McLeod, TX and Chris Moore and wife Kina of Vivian, LA, her sister Mary Bramer of Edinburgh Scotland, 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be William Moore, Chris Moore, Rusty Johns, Chad Moore, Brian Moore, and Bradley Johns.
